Made from rubberwood sourced from sustainably managed forests and coated with several layers of glossy lacquer, each layer is hand-polished for a flawless shine. Independently tested and compliant with European food contact legislation: Directive 84/500/EEC and Directive 2005/31/EC.
The ceramic grinding mechanism is activated by a simple clockwise movement. Use only with black peppercorns or dry coarse salt with a maximum size of 4 mm. Do not use sea salt, damp salt, dried damp salt or pink pepper. The tighter the grind adjustment knob is turned, the finer the grind. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the ceramic mechanism.
Do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods. Clean with a soft, damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
